Nikola Jokic put on a dominant performance in the Denver Nuggets' 122-110 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, spoiling Doc Rivers' debut as the Sixers' head coach.
Jokic finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists for his 14th triple-double of the season, leading the Nuggets to their third straight victory.
The Serbian center was unstoppable in the paint, hitting 9 of 15 shots from the field. He also dished out several highlight-reel assists, including a no-look pass to Will Barton for an easy layup.
Jamal Murray added 21 points for the Nuggets, while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Nuggets shot 53.7% from the field and outrebounded the Sixers 47-37.
The Sixers struggled offensively without Joel Embiid, who missed the game with a knee injury. Tobias Harris led the way with 23 points, but the rest of the team shot just 40.2% from the field.
The Nuggets improved to 43-22 with the win, while the Sixers fell to 38-26. Denver will host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, while the Sixers will travel to Brooklyn to face the Nets.
