Sony Pictures has announced that "Beetlejuice 2" will be released in theaters nationwide on September 6, 2024. The sequel, which is being directed by Tim Burton, has been highly anticipated by fans of the original film, which was released in 1988.
The plot of the sequel has been kept under wraps, but it is said to follow Lydia Deetz, the now-teenage daughter of the Maitlands, who accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife.
