Tenacious D Cancels Remaining Tour Dates
Band Members Part Ways After Dispute
Gass Confirms Split, Black Hints at Reunion
Comedy-rock duo Tenacious D has canceled the remaining dates of their Australian tour after a dispute between band members Jack Black and Kyle Gass.
Gass confirmed the split in a statement, saying that he and Black had "creative differences" that could not be resolved.
Black, however, hinted that a reunion could be possible in the future. "Never say never," he said in an interview. "We've been through a lot together, and I hope we can find a way to work things out."
The cancellation of the tour is a major blow to fans of Tenacious D, who were eagerly anticipating the band's return to Australia.
The duo had been scheduled to perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth, but those shows have now been canceled.
