A major clean-up operation is underway in Harehills, Leeds, after a night of violence and disorder. A double-decker bus was set on fire, and a police car was overturned in the outbreak of trouble.
Tom Riordan, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council, has said that he expects to see arrests following the incident.
A 26-year-old resident who lives off Harehills Lane described the scene as chaotic, with attackers targeting police cars.
Council workers were seen cleaning up the mess on Friday morning.
